Our sweet Aiden was taken suddenly from us on 10/13/08. He went to the babysitters and we got a call that he stopped breathing. It was to late, it seems to be that SIDS is the cause. It also appers that both my kids were left alone that day for over 30 min. The babysitter left the house to go and pick up her kids from the bus stop. At this time my sweet baby boy was left alone not in a crib but on a bed alone where he passed away. This was never told to us by the sitter but discovered later on. One only wonders if he wasn't alone would he still be here. I don't know why there is nothing that can be done about SIDS. They have to find a cure. Well we no longer know if it was SIDS there seems to have been somethings that went on that was hidden from us. Seems Aiden was placed to sleep in a regualr bed not a crib or car seat. We also found out that he was left alone for an undertermand amount of time while the babysitter left the house, at this time is when Aiden passed. When the babysitter got home Aiden had already stopped breathing. The case is listed as unfounded meaning SIDS or neglect so we have no closure. Because there was no one who could expalin what happend to my son in his final moments of life we have no answers just questions. All in all no matter the case he was taken away from us amd this is the hardest thing to live with.
The entire preganancy was hard. I had totake P17 shots and injections the entire time after 20 weeks to keep Aiden from coming early. But it was worth it anything to save my baby and then this happens. You feel like a failure that you the mother couldn't protect your child. Aiden has two loving sister Cyra age 8 and Kayla age 4 who miss him very much. Kayla was there when this happened so she is aware and that breaks my heart. They love and miss him so. Aiden also has many other family members who love and miss him. Here is a list of who is left to carry on his memory. God give us the strenght to go on and keep him with us forever.
